Franca Parianen Lesemann, M.Sc.

Franca Parianen LesemannFranca Parianen has joined the INET team in 2014. Since 2016 she is working as a PhD candidate in the project, for which she was granted a scholarship by the "Studienförderwerk Klaus Murmann, Stiftung der deutschen Wirtschaft".
Before, Franca finished her Bachelor in Public Administration (Politics, Sociology, Economy, Law) at the Universities of Muenster and Enschede, resulting in a Doublediploma of Arts and Sciences. After a field study on Fair Trade Certification in the Mauritian Textile Industry she worked as a fundraising coordinator for the Eine Welt Netz NRW. From 2012-2014, Franca studied Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Utrecht. During this project, she conducted internships at the Helmholtz Institute, the Jacobs Center of Lifelong Learning (Jacob's University Bremen).
Her research areas are and were neuroendocrinology, sensorimotor plasticity and social neuroscience.
